About the program: This presentation will cover some statistics on wastefulness (particularly in the US), global and long-term projections, and how to become mindful about our impact on the environment. You will be provided some small changes we can make that result in a large impact. This would apply to your personal and professional lives. There several talking points focused on the veterinary field.
About the presenter: I have almost 10 years of sustainability and environmental education experience through the Museum of Coastal Carolina, SC Department of Natural Resources, US Fish and Wildlife, US Forest Service, and other such organizations. Currently, I am a middle school science teacher at an SC state environmental education charter school. Additionally, I am the primary speaker for the Sustainable Solutions series for US Fish and Wildlife and the Forest Service. Sustainable Solutions is a series centered on transitioning and maintaining a sustainable life and business.
