Dr. Hardymon is an adjunct professor at Trident Technical College
Veterinary Technician program and a member of the advisory committee. In
addition to her involvement with the veterinary technician program, she
is an associate veterinarian at an AAHA accredited small animal hospital
and runs V.E.T. Academy. V.E.T. Academy is Charleston's premier
opportunity for all members of veterinary staff who are seeking to
advance their skills and expand their knowledge. Veterinary Education
Training Academy offers courses on a number of subjects and is committed
to each student's success. Prior to starting her career as a
Veterinarian, Dr. Hardymon graduated from the College of Charleston
where she co-founded the Scuba Diving Club and researched an esophageal
parasite of the Atlantic Croaker. Dr. Hardymon worked as a veterinary
nurse for 5 years before attending the University of Georgia College of
Veterinary Medicine, graduating from the program in 2012. While at UGA,
she held leadership positions at the veterinary fraternity Alpha Psi,
including Philanthropy Chair, Rush Chair, and House Leader. In 2017,
Dr. Hardymon became a registered Class IV Radiation Safety Officer with
DHEC.
